Expertise enhanced by compassion and integrity…
Cathy’s experience began in 1998 working for a boutique Trusts & Estates law firm as a trusts and estates legal secretary and eventually graduating to the position of paralegal. As a Florida Registered Paralegal for many of Southwest Florida’s most prestigious law firms , Cathy has over 18 years’ of experience working specifically in the trusts and estates arena. Time and again, Cathy has seen the devastation of the remaining spouse or loved one who is mired in paperwork and so overwhelmed by grief and confusion that he or she cannot get through it. To fulfill that need, Cathy applies her expertise and clear thinking to provide her clients with peace of mind, enabling them to move forward.
Kristin Philips is a trust and estate associate at Oakstone Law, PL.
Kristin focuses her practice on providing individualized, competent, compassionate, and private, white glove estate planning services.
She has experience in a variety of complex trust and estate matters including long term care planning and asset protection.
Kristin also assists clients with the formation of business entities, charitable planning, special needs trusts, trust administration and probate.
Although the firm focuses on high net worth individuals, Kristin assists clients with non-taxable estates. She believes everyone deserves top tier estate planning.
A Naples resident of four years, Kristin enjoys spending afternoons at the beach, walking through Corkscrew Sanctuary, playing at area parks, pool days and dining at new restaurants with her husband, Jason, two young children and their Chihuahuas (Bella and Tela). Her aspirations for the future include: traveling the world, many trips to Disney with the littles and catching a few zzzs.
Jennifer Stoneburner joined the Oakstone Law family in May of 2016 and is the firm’s Special Projects Coordinator. Jennifer is a Barron Collier High School graduate and earned an Associates in Arts degree with Florida South Western State College. She lives in Naples with her husband, Rob, her daughter, her dog Blue and her cat Tuesday. Originally from Woodbury, NJ she moved to Naples in 1978, which makes her an almost Naples native. When she’s not busy making Oakstone clients happy, she enjoys music, reading, boating and travel.
Bob is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-Preeminent rated attorney. He founded Oakstone after serving for many years serving as a personal, in-house estate, tax and charitable planning attorney for a Forbes 400 family in New York and Florida.
Prior to that, Bob was an estate planning and estate settlement attorney with prominent firms in Boston and Washington, DC, after beginning his career with a boutique firm in Naples, Florida. (Bob is licensed in Florida and Massachusetts)
Realizing (again) there is far too much cold and snow in places like Boston and New York, Bob returned to Naples. And there he resides with his wife Cathy (see above!) and daughter.
